After over 10 years since the original Thorpeness RFC ceased to exist we are back!

It all started in the pub, where most good things end up after a game. A few local lads got chatting, one thing led to another and we decided it time to start back up the old Leiston and Thorpeness club.

Two months later and a playing ground had been agreed, the backbone of a playing squad assembled and sponsors becoming interested in the buzz. Word soon spread and the idea has spiraled from conception to where it is today.

The club has been set-up with the intention of two things, playing Rugby and having fun doing it. We are serious about what we do and as any team we aim to do well, but our main objective is for everyone associated with the club to enjoy it. Rugby is a team game and without each others support on and off the field a club cannot move forward. We hope our team spirit and attitude can move the club from strength to strength.
